I don't have a dog but have hunted pheasant and quail many times with other dog owners. Many of these friends have moved away stopped hunting. Although I like having a hunting buddy for deer, duck and coyote, I really can't hunt upland bird well without a dog. In a few years I will be able to get one of my own but until then, I miss that part. I just don't have a bird hunting buddy anymore.

I cannot kill what i will not consume, that has been the moral of my ancestors (who lived on this land for time immemorial!

For one it is illigal, Two: Tobacco to me is sacred, i can't engage with someone disrespecting it in an abusive manner

absolutely, for my safetly, for other citizens walking in the woods, and for the sacred animals, with an alcoholic influence, a bad shot may not be fatal, and for me that is abuse
