Greeting, I am looking for someone to partner with that uses stock to pack in Elk bowhunting.. I like to hunt hard but mostly enjoy being in the backcountry. I have good stock and equipment. Not really looking to end up being a guide or babysitter, but since I don't like to hunt alone anymore I might consider someone that doesn’t have stock if they know their way around horses and have packing skills. I am somewhat flexible, but like to take at least a two week trip in mid September. I have an area I hunt, however, I might be willing to consider other eg. Remote, hard to get to low pressure, highcountry hunting where elk still respond to calls. By the way you also must be able to call elk! Not interested in Out of state, the budget and time just don’t add up at this point. Let me know if you are interested, I am near Billings. A plus would be for the person(s) to have the ability to take summer pack trips. Also interested in bird hunting.

I would consider anywhere Western MT but closer to Missoula is easier for me

I am not a seasoned hunter yet but have camped and backpacked for years. What I offer is a strong work ethic, commitment to our goals, assistance in meat packing and not quitting, willingness to learn and hike distance to find our quarry, respect for you as a person and hope for the same from you, commitment to watching your six in griz country, and good company at camp. Those are things I value in a hunting partner as well so if that sounds like you then let's go hunt!
