I am a late starter to hunting, my grandfather hunted but my dad didn't, so i didn't grow up doing it. I've only recently gotten into it in the last 5 years and have yet to make a kill. I keep going out and trying, and don't have a problem hiking with a pack. I'm an eagle scout and ex ARMY.
