Always looking for partners for my yearly trips west to bow hunt elk. Also enjoy mule deer and antelope, black tail deer with rifle. Hunt Pa for deer, turkey and bear. I run a drive gang of 20-25 guys during Pa bear season Enjoy bird hunting and predator trapping. Would like to try a trapping trip out of state.

I’ve been hunting since I started school. Very safety conscious but I like to just have fun and promote the sport of hunting. I’ve taken dozens of kids through the safety courses and I think that’s important.

Stick to hunting!): I hunt with two camps (mine and another nearby) in Western Clinton County, PA, near Renovo for black bear and deer. We have a history there that goes back over a century. But, as many of us are aging out, and with too many of the earlier generations already gone, we don't want our camps and knowledge of putting on drives in this rugged area to die out with us. We simply don't want to be the last generation of hunters. We're looking for hunters of any age, so long as you can at least walk in the woods. But we really need younger and/or healthy hunters to learn the mountains and the drives.
I can't promise you you'll get a shot. But you will have a great time with a bunch of great guys, and for far lest than a western hunt. Camp costs and food are VERY reasonable. Hunt one day or all week, we still have plenty of open beds this coming season. Both camps have electric, showers, etc.
I have killed several black bears myself, and we've killed about 25 in the last 30 years. Good success with whitetails also. Some grouse and turkey as well. But I also enjoy small game hunting, and would like to travel to other states for other game, small and big.
And I know, drive hunting isn't for everyone. But I've done it both ways, alone and as a group, and I'd never have hunted the places we hunt alone, and never gotten the bears I have alone. We had a new guy last year, 40 yrs old, who's hunted a lot out west. But he said he's never had this much fun (or hunted this hard), and he's now hooked and coming back this year.
So if you're interested in drive hunting, and/or are looking for a camp to hunt with, no matter if you are from my home area of Lancaster County PA or not, let's talk. Worst that happens is we swap some stories and talk guns and hunting.
