I'm hoping to find an honest, reliable hunting partner. I'm not an expert but not a newbie either. Willing to split costs 50/50. I have a truck and lots of gear for extended hunts. I'm pretty much game for anything hunting or fishing.

I'm not necessarily looking for local hunters in my area, although that is OK but I am looking for hunters in other states who know their area and good places to hunt for occasional trips. I do not want to pay the large outfitters fees but I am willing to possibly pick up more than my fair share for a local guide, especially for a successful hunt!

As you can tell from my answers above, I am very inexperienced when it comes to hunting. That doesn’t mean I am not proficient with a firearm or bow, I have just never been out hunting. I have been hiking, backpacking, and camping all my life and am just now getting interested in hunting. I have been reading books and studying game laws, rules and regulations, different methods of hunting, how to read topo maps, how to field dress etc. I have collected all the gear I need that I didn’t already have (binos, bino harness, range finder, spotting scope, bow, game bags and more). Needless to say whoever I end up talking to/going with will be a teacher of mine, but I will not slow you down or be in the way, I carry my own weight.
